Saturday 5 PM Contemporary Worship Moves to the Fellowship Center
Beginning Saturday, May 30 at 5 PM
After thoughtful conversation and meaningful enhancements to the space, we are ready to officially move our Saturday 5 PM Contemporary Worship to the Fellowship Center.
Over the past months, several important elements have been added to help shape this space for worship. Most notably, the cross from the original Worship Center has been artistically redesigned and refabricated into a custom copper cross by Bruce and Nancy Merrill, in collaboration with Sean Pollock, Worship Director. This piece now serves as a visual anchor. In addition, the kneeling prayer rails, hand-crafted by Bob Ferioli, along with a new communion table and other worship furnishings, help create a space that is both reverent and welcoming. This move brings together the strengths of a modern worship environment, enhanced sound and visual capabilities, with the grounding presence of meaningful, traditional symbols.
As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of New Covenant in 2026, this transition also reflects a forward focus, strengthening worship that not only honors where we have been, but also helps welcome a new generation into this place we call home. Our first service in the Fellowship Center will begin with a brief time of reconsecration for worship, marking this transition with intention and prayer.
You are encouraged to arrive early to take in the space, settle in, and prepare for worship.
