Blessed to Be a Blessing
New Covenant United Methodist Church is excited to announce our “Blessed to Be a Blessing" Fall Campaign this year!
"Blessed to Be a Blessing" is all about encouraging everyone to express gratitude to God for all of the blessings in our lives and to respond to God’s generosity by making a positive difference in our community.
During the months of September and October, we will be rolling out different elements of this campaign, including a sermon series, special events, merchandise, and more. We hope that you will join us in the "Blessed to Be a Blessing" Campaign as we continue to live into the vision of being Christ’s hands, feet, and voice in the world.
Sermon Series
Rev. Harold Hendren will begin a brand-new sermon series titled, "Blessed to Be a Blessing" the weekend of October 4 & 5, 2025.
The Apostle Paul wrote about the teaching of Jesus that "it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). In this series, we will explore ways to recognize the blessings from God in our lives and how we are called to use our gifts and resources to bless others.
Come and join us in worship for this series as we consider what is means for us to be "Blessed to Be a Blessing."
Merch
"Blessed to Be a Blessing shirts" are on the way!
Once they arrive, we hope that you will consider purchasing one so that you can help spread the message of being a blessing to the community by wearing it when you’re out and about.
Shirts will be available in the Narthex before worship services while supplies last. They will also be available for order online.
Net proceeds from the shirts will support the ongoing ministries of New Covenant.
